At Green Valley Dental, we have an extremely talented and dedicated team of Oral Health Therapists working in Children’s Dentistry and gum disease treatment. Who they are

Oral Health Therapists are dual qualified Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists. Each of our Oral Health Therapists are university educated with Bachelor’s Degrees in Oral Health, meaning they definitely know their stuff!

What they do

Oral Health Therapists specialise in both Children’s Dentistry and the treatment and prevention of gum disease. The treatment they provide to children and adolescents as Dental Therapists include taking x-rays, teeth cleaning and polishing, fluoride treatment, fillings and extractions of baby teeth. Also qualified as Dental Hygienists, they regularly perform thorough teeth cleaning and help to treat gum conditions for all ages.

Our Oral Health Therapists place a high emphasis on preventative care. They take the time to ensure they properly teach each patient how to correctly look after their oral health. This ensures that all Green Valley Dental patients learn proper techniques on how to improve their oral care. Our Oral Health Therapists in experts in making young patients feel comfortable about visiting a dentist, making sure their dental visits are fun and pain-free! Our therapists always make sure to explain dental procedures step-by-step to remove fear of the unexpected for all patients. The Wand supplies anaesthetic in a slow and comfortable manner, and removes the fear from traditional syringe injections.
