March Staff Spotlight – Dr Jacob Stretton

Dr Jacob Stretton is just one of our many talented doctors at Green Valley Dental! Dr Jacob graduated from the University of Sydney in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry. Since then, he has gained vast clinical experience in both regional and metropolitan private dentistry practice!

Dr Jacob’s focus is on high quality dentistry with a friendly atmosphere to put nervous patients at ease. He ensures to always explain procedures calmly to his patients to help them overcome any dental phobias they might have.

“I’m always keen to explain any concept or complex procedure at length, to make sure the patient is knowledgable about their own treatment,” says Dr Jacob.

Dr Jacob has vast experience in all aspects of dentistry, with special interest and expertise in wisdom teeth surgery and extractions. Additionally, he always tries to keep informed and updated on the latest industry news and updates.

“By participating in regular professional development, I am able to keep abreast of the latest techniques and technology in dentistry,” says Dr Jacob. “That way, I can always provide the best care for all my patients.”

Dr Jacob is always keen in giving quick tips to his patients to improve the efficiency of their own dental hygiene. One of his favourites – leave your floss in the shower. “It gives you an excuse to stay in for two minutes longer!” he says.

Outside of working at Green Valley Dental, Dr Jacob likes to stay fit by running, and spends a lot of his spare time writing and producing music.
